Jog the Web enables multiple websites to be presented as a package thus providing a semi-directed approach to research. Lets say we wanted to research news and how it is delivered. We could construct (or get students to construct) an appropriate jog to support this research. JogTheWeb is a simple Web 2.0 tool that allows you to crate, read and share a new online media: the WebBOOK; the necessary tool to provide a listing of items you wish the reader to go through, in order, like a binder, that includes both the input of the creator and the input of web sites together. See below for my example, and it is also a link to the presentation for Nicole Painchaud on her exploration of Web 2.0 tools for assessment of learning. Thank you and I hope this helps you with your students.
